THE DEAD TREES

The Dead Trees are an Americana, Folk, Rock band from LA who "write and play music that is enjoyable". They've toured with the likes of Albert Hammond JR, MGMT and continue to impress.
They funded their debut album entirely from donations by fans and supporters alone and are set to self release another EP.

GROUPLOVE

Another American band recommended, this time by the name of GROUPLOVE. four guys, one girl and the ability to create amazing artful sounds through alternative music. We seriously recommend this song and it's video!

YOUNG THE GIANT

An American Rock band who're signed to Roadrunner Records. A different signing for the label who primarily home Heavy / Death Metal bands but these guys know how to write a song and perform it like it's the last time they ever can.

Their single 'My Body' is an inspiring, motivating track that has received much attention from all the right people to get this band in all the right places.

GIVERS

Givers are an indie pop band from Louisiana, apparently they were one of "ten acts that rocked SXSW this year".
Their single 'Up Up Up' is receiving quite a bit of press at the moment.. However, this isn't what caught our eye (ears). The CSS Remix of the song is brilliant and gives the band exactly what it needs to stand out from the crowd. The remix is nowhere to be found online but here's the performance from SXSW:

VARIOUS CRUELTIES

This band have been on our stereo constantly recently, their song's are brilliant and every member individually shines into one mammoth unit. We cannot urge you enough to listen to the tracks below and discover your new favourite indie band

STAR SLINGER

Darren Williams aka Star Slinger is NOT a DJ. Clearly stated before his set at the Great Escape earlier this year. He is however a very clever Glitch-Hop producer who creates stunning music that anyone can appreciate.

TRIBES

Tribes are a breath of fresh air to live music, their songs are catchy, meaningful and full of energy. There's a lot of hype going about and in our opinion, it's well justified.

ACTION BEAT

Action Beat are completely different to the kind of bands we usually blog about.. in fact; they're completely different generally... Which is why we're blogging about them.

This is DIY in it's truest form, a honest and original band that change their line up depending on which members are available for shows. Even if you're not a fan of this kind of music, you will certainly appreciate the passion and influence these guys have to offer.
